Caring for your Teak Outdoor Furniture as summer begins is something to consider. Teak Outdoor Furniture is probably going to outlast most of the other wood Outdoor Furniture types and all it takes is a proper cleaning.
Your patio Furniture is brand new so you need to decide if you want to keep that original honey wood color or are you going to let it age on its own to a beautiful silver gray patina? The gray patina is cosmetic and many people enjoy the ease of caring for Teak Furniture that has this patina. Others prefer to seal it and protect the Teak so it continues to keep the original honey color.
First things first, treat all the Furniture pieces with a Teak protectant. Cleaning Teak Outdoor Furniture is a must regardless of whether you want the silver-gray look or want to keep the original honey color. You can use the manufacturers suggested product or you can use a ratio of 2 to 1 of laundry detergent with bleach and water; this should be applied to the Furniture with a soft brush. Next rinse all the Teak Furniture with water to remove the dirt residue and the suds. This is all you need to do if you want your Furniture to have the silver gray patina.
If you want to keep the rich honey color of the Furniture you will need to seal it using a Teak sealant after you have cleaned, rinsed, and allowed the Furniture to dry. Most Teak sealants available contain agents that prevent the wood from developing mold and mildew. Teak oil sealants can be applied so it keeps its original coloring. These oils and sealants will protect your Furniture from ultraviolet bleaching but it will need to be applied to the Furniture every six months to a year in order to preserve the color.
Teak wood Furniture does not need to have oils, varnishes, and water sealers applied to it for protection. The natural oils of the wood will seal out any water. Varnishes will chip and flake requiring the tedious job of sanding the Furniture to remove it. Some drinks, Ketchup, and oily foods can stain Teak Furniture but a clear coat is available to apply to the Furniture that comes in close contact with food. Teak is resistant to warping and rotting but it is still not good to let it stand in any water.
Teak is a close-grained dense hardwood. It contains a high level of oil which allows the wood a resistance to any moisture and of dry weather. It will not corrode or rust any of the metals it may come in contact with plus it is able to withstand any weather conditions. Teak is the most durable, elegant, and low maintenance woods of today.
Teak Outdoor Furniture weathers beautifully without worrying about rotting. It needs only minimal care and you do not need to seal or treat the wood regularly. After a few seasons Outdoors your Teak Furniture should start to turn a silver-gray; retaining the original color of the wood is obtained by following my Teak wood care maintenance above. Teak will keep its honey color or silver-gray patina without rotting, twisting, splintering or warping.

Normal dorm Bunk Mattress Size ranges from 30"x75" to 54"x80" and the prices goes up with the sizes. But normally bunk beds can be accommodated by twin XL mattresses, so these will the safest choice. Cheap mattresses aren't usually based on sizes and so is comfort.
